Technical scientific staff of LIFE Fluvial project
In my latest position, during four years, my role consisted in the management of the LIFE Fluvial project “Improvement and sustainable management of river corridors of the Iberian Atlantic Region” (LIFE 16 / NAT / ES000771). This experience has given me the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired during my university career to forest restoration techniques. My knowledge about plant genetics, phytosociology and germplasm conservation have been useful to me during decision-making and the design of technical agroforestry restoration projects. My main tasks were the analysis of autochthonous and non-native vegetation, vegetation mapping, establishment and use of monitoring indicators, monitoring of works and carrying out floristic inventories, dissemination of the project.
